Ingredients: Smokey Bourbon Garlic K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce
- 3 cups Garlic & Onion pasta sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 ¼ cups brown sugar
- 1 ¼ cups Apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup molasses
- ½ cup Bourbon
- ¼ cup bacon drippings
- 2 Tbsp. tamarind paste
- 2 Tbsp. smoked minced garlic (we smoke our garlic, use what you have)
- 1 Tbsp. hickory-flavored liquid smoke
- 1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
- 1 tsp. Chipotle chili powder
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
- ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
Cooking Directions: Smokey Bourbon Bacon KC BBQ SaucePlace all of your ingredients into a heavy saucepan and simmer until blended. Slowly bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until thick and richly flavored, about 15 minutes or so, stirring often.
